Pet crafting: Shiny, Rainbow and Neon

How the three crafting tiers work, what they cost you, and when the trade is worth making.

The recipe

Three identical pets craft into one Shiny. Three identical Shinies craft into one Rainbow. Three identical Rainbows craft into one Neon.

That means a single Neon consumes twenty-seven of the original pet. The cost curve is steep on purpose.

What you get for it

Each tier raises the pet's muscle multiplier and adds a second enchant that cannot be rerolled. Both parts matter: the multiplier is the visible gain, the locked second enchant is what makes high-tier pets the endgame.

Our pets table lists the standard-tier multiplier for every pet, and the wiki's Shiny and Rainbow tables show what each step is worth for that specific creature.

When crafting is the wrong call

Because multipliers add rather than multiply, three separate mid-tier pets equipped together can out-perform one crafted Shiny of a weak pet. Crafting is worth it when the base pet is already strong or when you have run out of equip slots and need each slot to carry more.

Check the arithmetic before you feed three pets into the machine: add the three multipliers you would lose, compare against the one you would gain.
